ONE OF A KIND 1912 BUICK TOURING CAR
AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF BRASS ERA DESIGN!
This wonderful classic car is in great condition, as shown in the photos.  What makes this car
truly unique is that it was one of the automobiles used in the movie
The Great Race with Tony
Curtis.  Included with the sale are two pieces of luggage that were used in the movie, as well as
a photo showing Tony Curtis in the car.

This car is ready to go onto a museum floor and would be the highlight of local and regional
shows.  All of the brass is in beautiful condition.  All of the exterior accessories are brass,
including the headlights, windshield supports, mounted running lights, horn, and carbide
generator; several other parts, including the dash instruments and parts of the steering wheel,
are also brass.  The car cranks over and runs smoothly (i.e. it has a hand crank to start it).
Right now it is garaged for show and storage, so the engine probably needs some lubrication
and basic maintenance to be road-ready.  Other than some minor chipping of the paint, the car
looks fantastic – please see the photos to confirm this.  The black leather interior is in excellent
condition, as is the wood firewall/cowl.  The car has nearly new 32”x4” Firestone tires and a
black convertible top.  The undercarriage is painted black.

This car is a 1912 Model 29, based on the wheelbase (108") and the number of doors (3).
